Joanne has started her training for the 'Weekend to End Breast Cancer.' On August 9-10 she will walk a full 60km in support of breast cancer! She will be walking as a supporter. She is now walking a total of 15km each weekend to prepare for the walk. Watch this page for more updates. Don't forget to come out and cheer on all the survivors (pink shirts) and supporters (white shirts) during the walk. For more information on the event or to make a donation click here.

As many of you know we stopped buying plastic bags in September 2007. We are almost out of bags and as of September 2008 we will only have plastic bags for special events and promotional days.

We encourage you to bring your own bag and to help you remember we have developed our "Go Green" campaign. We have printed cloth bags that we sell in the shop. If you purchase one of these bags you will be given a year of promotions! For the first 3 months you have 3 opportunities to buy Quilter's Quarters at 50% off! When that card expires you will receive another card in the mail for an additional promotion. Each promotion lasts 3 months and you will receive four in total! You can't beat that!
